NPD MBD2 this is hands down my favorite dirt pedal yet.

Put this one together (my first board). It’s a Gator small aluminum board… super solid! Came with Velcro that seemed pretty weak so found some Dual-Lock at Home Depot.
Like it so much I ordered off for a Keeley Bassist Compressor to fill out the board!

Let me brag a little, please.
My wife's (see profile pic ) band has entered the studio last week to start recording their 3rd album.
The producers, two pros this time (!!!), went nuts when they saw my wife's rig at the rehearsals and they absolutely wanted her to bring it in the studio (Mesa M9 + Powerhouse cabs).
Best of all, she brought in her pedalboard and they decided to use the effects *I* programmed in her Boss MD-500 + SansAmp Bass DI rather than using DAWs for how great they sounded.

Looks lovely! I like how tightly packed it is.

I should also post my board now - I recently got the Milkbox to replace my Empress Comp v1, but it still has all the pitfalls of a pedal made in the '90s... Heavy and large! That, as well as the side jacks on all of my pedals (not to mention the side power jacks) is driving me insane. I'm planning to redo it entirely with pedals with top jacks. According to my calculations, I should be able to *just* squeeze 7 pedals in it. Here's hoping. Fingers crossed.

I sold my WA Julia and my Aguilar Fuzzistor, and I think I might get rid of my B7K Ultra and permanently replace it with the YYZ. To me, the Ibanez Chorus Mini sounds phenomenal - I think it sounds better than the Julia. The Triangle sounds decent to me and so it might stick around for now. The YYZ is the most 'organic' sounding drive I've ever owned.

I'm very satisfied with this current lineup, especially knowing that I've replaced some of my previous pedals with relatively cheaper alternatives that sound good (or even better) to my ears.

So I picked up a pre-loved Darkglass B7K to try out on my pedalboard to replace the SpectraDrive but then realised there was no Aux in or headphone out option with the B7K so now my compact board is less compact as I'm now running two preamp pedals which was not the original plan. Verdict is still out as to whether I keep the B7K. Is there any real benefit in having two preamps?

You cans set one for OD grind and the other one for cleans. I do that with my GT1000

This is where I am at at the moment. They are actually velcro’d to a board I found in my garage. A woodworker friend is building me a custom pedalboard so this is just a temporary way to lug everything around.

The Battalion is the most important pedal and I often bring just it for my gigging situations. I play a lot of worship music in church, so DI is super common for me. I also really like the Dispatch Master for what I do - it’s a reverb and delay. After that the Pork and Pickle has cool sounds, particularly the fuzz. I really like the fuzz settings. I am still playing around with the octave pedal. Not sure what I think about it yet. Anyways thanks for checking it out.

It's only 14.5 X 7.5 inches but packed with all I ever use/need. CIOKS 7 underneath pushes all of it, including the 24V Interbass. Fits perfectly in a plastic hard case I found for 50. on line. Apologies for double posting since I also put it in the "tidy" thread Sounds glorious.....I like the HPF early on and the space heater just before the Quilter. No need for a head for practice as the Quilter gets fairly loud through a nice 112.

- Ultra compact, fits in the front pocket of my bass bag (23x15 cm / 9x6 inches)
- DI out with cabinet simulation for going direct
- Headphone output and aux input for quiet jamming
- TC Electronic Wiretap for recording ideas on the go (or recording live sets). Can easily be reamped later.

Can you describe how you use the Wiretap to record sets please? I've been looking into the Zoom H4N and similar ones, but this is first I've heard of using the Wiretap. Thanks!
