Made a few, minor changes to the compact board...:D

I got the QC and it seems ridiculously AWESOME! I've really only had time to set up one preset, so that's gonna be my sound for the next 3 days, LOL! The Pitch Shifter is pretty impressive, but the modulations seems a little weak, so the H9 is there as a sidekick. I'll probably just carry my HX Stomp as a backup, in case the QC decides to take a gig night off. I'm excited, though.

I put the Noble back on the big board, and I'll probably use the GT1K Core on the Metro 24 with my Sushi Box SBVT/Finally combo and whatever I have leftover.

I've got a few things I need to Capture
-Bergantino Forte HP
-Hamstead Soundworks Subspace
-Damnation Audio MBD2

No rest for the wicked...

Curious. How do you capture the sound of a certain device?

That's one of the core features of the QC, it has the ability to "capture" certain types of sounds. It can capture amps, cabs, and dirt pedals. The Kemper can do the same thing, although it does it in a different way.

Scroll down to the Neural Capture section and/or check out the YT vid...;)

Very cool! I assumed it was endless hours of tweaking a crap ton of parameters.

Lol! Then it’s prob not for me.

Let me tell ya', I've owned most of the "standard" modelers. I've had the Line 6 stuff(had a Helix, currently have an HX Stomp), I've had a Kemper, I've had a Fractal FM3/FC6, and I also currently own a Boss GT-1000Core. Honestly, this Quad Cortex is the most user-friendly modeler I've owned. I LOVE the Helix and HX Stomp, but the QC doesn't need a computer for anything. You can do everything right there on the unit. If you wanted to build a patch during a gig, you can. In all fairness, you can do that with the L6 stuff, but the touch screen on the QC makes a ton of difference.;)

I spy an Audality M1 Wireless. Interested to hear some thoughts, as they are rare 'round here.

I got this wireless last week, and gigged Thursday-Saturday, including one of the bigger clubs we play, and this wireless KILLED! It's been the same thing with wireless units, I've owned the Shure GLXD(still have it), a bunch of Line 6 Relay units(G50, G90, and the G70-still have it), a Sennheiser EW100 G4(still have it), and the Boss WL-50 I just came from, and the Audality M1 just smoked all of those for clarity, range, signal interference, and overall sound quality! Last night I was able to reach areas of the bar that I couldn't come close to with the other wireless stuff. I made a point to go back where my wife was sitting, which was pretty far from the stage and had a bunch of people between her and the stage, just to see if it would drop out. It kept signal the whole time. I normally don't use a wireless when I'm in my home studio, mainly because the Boss unit would drop out sitting on the floor next to me, nowhere near anything that would cause interference, but this M1 just keeps going! It's got rechargeable batteries, so it's not taking up a spot on my power supply. Audality says it'll go 20hrs on the receiver and 8hrs on the transmitter, and I believe it. I'll still charge it before the weekends, though. It pairs instantly, and it does sound great!

In other words, it pretty much does everything Audality says. We're still honeymooning, but I am impressed, so far!

Alright, I’m pretty proud of this. I needed to add a couple effects for some new songs the band wants to do, which meant up-sizing from my old Nano board and OneSpot rig. I found this Ghostfire Little 20 board on Amazon for much less than a comparable Pedaltrain. I’d never heard of Ghostfire, but it is solidly built and the PERFECT size for what I need. I also added a TrueTone CS6, my first isolated power supply.

Made as small of a pedalboard i could, to fit a minimum setup. I still have and use my main bigger board that has been tweaked to perfection by now.
This still works and sounds great while being a compromise but is so much easier to bring with me.
I have to rely on less variety of dirt, but forces me to actually play better somehow lol
