Show me your compact pedalboard setup

My current board…no need or desire for anything else

It's not as compact as my Quad Cortex board, but this thing seems to nail everything I had in mind...

Got a gig tonight, so we'll see if it sounds as good thru a P.A. live

The Subspace is just a beast! It can really fatten and warm up your sound, or it can rip your face off. It sounds great either way! The Super Vintage sounds like an SVT, which is different than my Noble, and I really like it. That ugly, green, digital Boss PH-3 phaser never ceases to amaze me at how much better it sounds than prettier, analog phasers that cost a lot more dough.

I also got the TC Electronics SCF Gold, but it was slightly underwhelming. I may keep it, because the flanger setting sounded decent. Again, the Boss pedal just works...

Can you post up any sound clips of that Subspace?

Not yet. I just haven't had the chance to sit down and record anything. I owe a few folks some demos, so, I'm going to work on that next week. I'm not off until Friday, and I have a gig Saturday, but I'll get my studio back in order and get my stuff setup to do some recording as the week progresses. In the meantime, you can check out Nate Navarro's demo, Zach Rizer's demo, and BassTheWorld's demo! I will get something for you next weekend...;)

My first ever assembled pedalboard after playing bass for around 5 months!

In before where's the tuner pedal, as I only do bedroom practice + jamming at a friend's place, so a clip-on tuner is more than sufficient for me (saving real estate space on the pedalboard too!).

Not the best cable management/routing, personally having an OCD for the patch cable between the Benson and Hudson, as there is no gap below for me to route the patch cable.

Signal Chain:
Fender Jino Jazz Bass -> Cali76 Compressor -> Benson Germanium Boost -> Hudson Dual Broadcast -> UA Astra -> UA Starlight -> Bassrig '64 -> Fender Rumble 200 v3 Combo Amp

Patch Cables: Solace Patch Cable (Mogami 2314 Cable + SquarePlug SP400), handmade by my local guitar tech/shop.

Power Supply: Cioks DC7

Cali76, Benson Boost, and the Bassrig will be always on pedals for me, the Hudson Dual Broadcast only when necessary.

For the 2 UAs, I still have not used them yet. Context is, I used to (attempt) learn guitar (alone) a couple of years back but gave up. During that time I do have a collection of guitar pedals, the 2 UAs are traded and a couple of other pedals are also bought using the money I sold from guitar pedals. The only fresh fund I injected was for the 2 Origin Effects pedals.

But I digress, those 2 are probably one of the best for Chorus and Delay pedals for guitar (from what I read), no harm trading for it (as I might use them in future). So hopefully it will!

Moral of the story, jamming with friends/band, even a super casual one will definitely improve much faster than playing alone (at least for my experience). Even though I only can play several pop punk/punk/rock songs from the 4 months of getting into the casual band. A working adult will take whatever spare time he could for his (2nd) hobby!

This is such a ridiculously stacked board, what the hell! I'm really curious as to how the ASTRA sounds on bass. Will have to give that one a go sometime.

I just re-configured my micro pedal board so I can get to know my new grizzly bass ahead of a performance this weekend. I’m hoping that, similar to my tone hammer 350 (which makes a terrible bedroom amp), this will sound much better in a mix.

The Grizzly has probably been the longest "always-on" pedal I've ever had on my board. It's such a good foundational dirt pedal its crazy.
