Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Sometimes I wish that amp manufacturers would put a 120 volt outlet on the back of the amp like they used to do with stereo equipment.

It would be nice to keep a couple pedals that are always on and never touched tucked neatly away with the amp.
I use these on my PA tops to accommodate outlet for lighting. I’m thinking you could use in power jack on amp to power effects?

I use one similar in the back of my Ampeg SVP1600 power amp. Except there is a male prong end on the combo plug and the female on the other end. Then the pigtail end is a female connection.

I place my preamps 12v adapter into the female combo after connecting to the power amp outlet. Then connect my power cable to the Eventide PowerMax that is powering all the pedals to the pigtail with an extension.

The main power cable from the amp connects to a 25' extension cord that I run to the nearest power conditioner on a stage.

Works like a charm!

That is a kickass setup.

Took some finagling, and I need more patch cables but I think I’m going to try this arrangement. I’d like to maybe one day try a SA Lunar and one of their envelope filter/octaves. I’d have to measure to see if they’d fit. The runs are so short, but I can’t find a good YouTube video that shows how to solder custom patch cables, the ones I find aren’t zoomed in enough or too blurry for me.

You could definitely fit a Spectrum/C4 in place of the MXR BEF; if you kicked the Octron off, another SA pedal would fit in there fine. Even with the Octron, you could probably stick one in the space cleared by the Small Stone. I can fit three SA pedals and a Bassrig onto a Voodoo Lab Dingbat Tiny (roughly the size of a PT Nano).

I'm going to see this Saturday if I'm happy playing a gig without my usual Metro 20, leaving an Octabvre, You're Doom, and Bass Waterfall at home. I'm tempted to go with a clip tuner and bring the Octabvre along, but I use it very sparingly and having a mute on a footswtich is handy. I sure wish they made a Nano 22 or 24. I like having everything in one row.

Warwick/rockboard does make a 5.5”x 24” board.
