Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Saturday night project that ebbed into Sunday morning. Stereo chorus into stereo Space Echo. One out into Tone Hammer, second out into Black Ash. I can go FOH from TH, and/or into an amp via the Black Ash. Or use the TH into an amp, sans Black Ash. Or run both into my 4 hole 2 channel SVT. All that pends is an 18v 500ma wall wart to power the TH from the front AC jack on this particular Voodoo Lab power supply.

Intentional or not, the color scheme on your board is gorgeous. It has a wonderful cyberpunk vibe.

Getting there. Was planning a T-16, but got a good deal on the Dubterranea. Now there’s just a small square left, maybe I’ll be able to cram a nano tuner on there. Not too sure about the MBD2 yet…

Anything in particular that prompted that change?

I know I'm slowly making my way to taking the Stomp off my board and putting it (back) on it's own (with the expression/ controllers I've got tethered to it and the line isolator/DI) as an auxiliary modeling board.

It started with adding the C4, then a couple other flavors of octave and dirt, then testing some compressors and feeling like I was missing something in the HX universe for bass. I have some unique wants/needs in my rig but I'm finding the whole refinement and potential breakaway process very fun and it's forcing me to really focus on what sounds I REALLY want to use vs just having the best utility ratios.

Just wanted to have a di option in my board. Any recommendation for a good di for bass?

That Sansamp should have a good DI but I am guessing you need something at the end of your signal chain.

I run a few options in terms of DI's. My amp has a pretty good DI built in so most soundmen just use that. I send FOH a post a post EQ signal from that so that my pedalboard is included. For gigs where I am just running the pedalboard I have a Radial DI on the pedal board for the soundman to use. I have never had a complaint with either

Preferences vary in terms of manufacturer but you really cannot go wrong with Radial.

Here is what I run:

I see a lot of guys running these when pedalboard space is limited:

I looked for a long time to find the smallest form factor with a thru and ground lift. This also has a -20db cut (which I don't use with my passive basses). It's been rock solid for me, and I use it after my HX Stomp to have the xlr "locked" cable instead of a 1/4" that could get pulled out accidentally. I also appreciate having the ground lift there just in case, but it usually doesn't matter because I run my HX Stomp off a battery. Anyway, here's the Switchcraft 314 DI(passive, so no extra power required):

I'm using the Countryman Type 85 for recording and dig the Radial ProDI for as a passive backup. Sushi Box Finally is a tube DI that would fit great on a board. Haven't used it for recording yet, but should have some dates in the new year.

I have amassed a small collection over the years with my current favorite being the @Sushi Box FX Finally Tube DI, just something sweet about tubes. Hard to beat for the sound quality, size and ease of power. I have long been using Countryman, RNDI, Radial, Avalon, Manley and many others which are all great the Finally is sweet simplicity IMHO.

Now this is maybe the one i need. Been using Tab Funkenwerk V71 DI but need something more compact.
