Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Greetings sir!
Happy new year! i put up these 2 mini boards last night. any suggestions on a nice versatile fuzz or dirt that will replace the hizumitas with preferabbly a Blue enclosure as well? i love the hizumitas but id like to try something else and keep the blue color scheme on the lower board, my drummer told me its gonna make me sound better if evrything is blue lol . thank you, cheers to more great gears for all of us this 2023!View attachment 4918782

What about a hiero BEAD? not blue but kind of blue.

The end of the year tweaks of my board. Eq2 back on, it just makes any instrument sound better so it stays.

If you don't mind the question. I have an HX Stomp. Is the EQ2 a better eq than what is available in the Stomp or is it just the case that you have one so might as well use it? I'm thinking about getting an eq2 but not sure if I would really be gaining anything. Thanks.

Stop saying the Hizumitas is good, I'm busy with my Keeley Moon
the keeley moon is a such a great pedal too sir. i might get one in the future. but for now i kept it in its original assemby and works with the current gig im on. happy new year and thanks for the great suggestion. Cheers!

I can get by fine with the para eq in the stomp, but the eq2 has 10 bands of para eq, plus 2 channels of it and hpf/lpf too(and a noise gate and tuner).
So I can use it first in chain, then last in chain too for final tweaks and to save blocks.

Read a lot on the subject of pedal placement. Though, I have yet to screw with he Effects Loop, rearranging my board (original placement, in top photo, and new placement, in bottom photo), what a difference, in sound, it has made putting the Compressor first, and the Delay/Reverb last.

Running into a GK Legacy 800, with GK 4X10, and 2X10 cabs, a much cleaner, punchier signal has been the result, with the dreaded muddiness completely gone.

Had a little arts & crafts time this morning, and made a practical modification to my PT Nano; much nicer to actually stomp on the pedals, at this angle! Just took a bit of super glue and some plastic chair bottoms. Plus I decided that, for when it's travelling in its carry case, the end pedals should have little "plugs" to stop any dirt or shmutz getting into the open jacks. Still waiting on a HPF to round the board out, but I'm definitely near the tinkering end game now :)

Had some fun finding a method to weigh down the new "legs" as they dried!

Probably hard to see the change in angle from the birds-eye pic, but hey, any excuse to post the board... lol!

Do you love the trickfish? I really want to try one eventually
I do. A great clean preamp. Great DI signal. Preamp adds little something even when EQ not engaged.
The separate gain and master controls very useful. Master doesnt effect the DI out. EQ has good freq points imho. Even thought the Bass is at 80 hz works well. Drives my new Sumo 1000 very well.

Here’s where I’m at. Not the pedalboard I thought I wanted:

Doesn't that mean you're doing it right, then? i.e. Using your ears, not your eyes or knowledge of what should sound best according to reviews and oipinions?

Also, I would rock that board any day...
