Usually it’s the group of pedals that makes a compact pedalboard. Sometimes however, it’s the pedal itself that becomes the compact pedalboard! I’m absolutely infatuated with this spring reverb which I acquired for my psychedelic surf project. It sounds mighty drippy indeed.

Love that pedal selection! I can't help it! I would so run it tuner>DCX>MBD2>chorus>Cali>boost. Either way great setup and thank you for a board without a darn pre amp! I have 3 and I never use the di. If I ever do my amp is acting as stage monitor and I just run the DI out from my amp. Never run in ears. Just a victim of GAS...

Minor update...(still) tremendously in love with the Mini Dist/Orange Juice/F.O.H. combo. I've managed to find a place for the Di box underneath. Haven't found the will to clean that mess on the underside though!

I only use the boost for the one passive bass I play so it matches the level of the actives.

Actually, the Basswitch Classic Boost is a preamp. Albeit not a preamp with a built in DI output. Regardless, it is a nice well designed board.

My current board:

Got the MOD Dwarf recently and integrated with my existing pedalboard. Still getting to grips with what it's capable of, it's not without it's quirks but already pretty blown away by what I've seen.

Got a few other changes to make one my EAE Model FeT is repaired and back on there. Might loose the Longsword and Hyper Luminal to make space for a Boss EV-1-WL expression pedal, maybe an extra foot switch for the Dwarf too.

I run the same DI under my board, super convenient with the XLR passthrough on the junction box.

I might need to grab one of those Rockboard power trays, currently got my DC7 mounted underneath but its a real pain for cable routing. Looks like a game changer.

Yeah man, I'm so happy with Cali76, Chase Tone and Lehle Sonic Spark as definite keepers but was never as much commited to my current preamp DI.

I've gone through sansamps, Mesa subway di, tone hammer DI, darkglass vintage ultra but CAPO is BY FAR a favourite

OK done for real this time! Until I move to a bigger board..
I decided reverb wasn’t for me, so I got the EHX Eddy instead. What a hoot. Some stuttering vibrato + Octave + Bug Crusher is pretty sick. Not to mention Octave + Fuzz + Phaser!

I've been using this setup for a while for rock and pop covers. I run the sansamp to the PA, with the parallel out to a powered monitor for stage volume.

My compact board I put together for a classic rock/punk benefit gig I got hired for that’s coming up in a couple weeks. Haven’t played a show in 5 years. Should be a blast. Tuner> overdrive >preamp powered by a One Spot on a Rockboard pedal riser.

I removed the Noble - not because of sound, but because of an incident that happened recently. Someone at a local jam decided to try opening up my board while it sat after I got off of the stage. I went to hit the restroom (thanks, beer) Luckily, he was spotted and confronted. I can’t say whether he was honestly trying to look at it or not, as he had stated after being confronted. Guilty or not, it freaked me out enough to get another DI. I had an SGT when they first came out and I liked the sound. I also picked up a Cioks SOL for power.

I figure even if something else were to happen, at least the stuff on the board is easily replaced (albeit a decent bill from Sweetwater!) The Noble is not easy to replace. I picked up a case for it and it’s sitting currently.

I’m almost thinking of putting it up to see what I could get for it.
