Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Updated just now.

I removed the Noble - not because of sound, but because of an incident that happened recently. Someone at a local jam decided to try opening up my board while it sat after I got off of the stage. I went to hit the restroom (thanks, beer) Luckily, he was spotted and confronted. I can’t say whether he was honestly trying to look at it or not, as he had stated after being confronted. Guilty or not, it freaked me out enough to get another DI. I had an SGT when they first came out and I liked the sound. I also picked up a Cioks SOL for power.

I figure even if something else were to happen, at least the stuff on the board is easily replaced (albeit a decent bill from Sweetwater!) The Noble is not easy to replace. I picked up a case for it and it’s sitting currently.

I’m almost thinking of putting it up to see what I could get for it.

sorry to hear about that incident… you could get a khan vtdi instead of the noble? Or like you have done already just keep it separate?

I'm sure it'll sound great with either the Ampeg or the Noble; no bad choices there, only different preferences!

Although, I think this anecdote points less to the hard-to-replace nature of the Noble, but more to the unfortunate need to never let your gear out of sight (or that of a TRUSTED friend) when at a bar/local gig. Sticky fingers are always around the corner! Canadians are supposed to be polite, apologetic, and happy syrup-guzzlers, but man, I've seen, and heard about, some wild sh!t go down...

My first pedalboard & pedals and it only took me 25 years (and Prime Day sales). I have no idea what I am doing, but I can see this becoming an addiction. I've already started planning my next pedalboard that will be battery powered and as few cables as possible.

Pedals right to left: Donner DT Tuner, Caline Wine Cellar, Caline CP-45 Compressor, Donner Noise Gate
Pedalboard: Kmise.

Have you tried compressor before drive ? Some pedals work out better that way, might be the case here... or not.

I have the exact same pedalboard, but with 11 pedals on it. Resisting the urge to post it here as it may not qualify as 'compact'....

It depends on how you define compact. :eyebrow:
If you think of "compressed, small " then 11 pedals is too much and your board does not qualify.
But you can also think of it as "neatly packed/organized". In that case it could.

Show your board and we will tell you ;)

Both my boards are compact :D

Just got my pedalboard today. Handcrafted off of Etsy. I'm still short a patch cable and a power supply, but I couldn't resist arranging my pedals on it. I have room for one more pedal. Thinking some kind of synth (probably the Source Audio C4).

Going to be moving to a larger board soon as my originals band is getting more experimental

euphoria is a place holder for a dark driving… data corrupter while amazing was difficult to use live and I am in love with the sy-1 View attachment 5134518
Right on. SY-1 fan here too. Love that thing. If it only had a few presets, it would be perfect.

It's the best. I had an Empress. I know they're way more popular than the Whirlwind. But after I got this one, I sold the Empress because I like the Whirlwind better.

Definitely recommend the Whirlwind EQ if you ever need one. They're not cheap, but they sound amazing even just flat. Also, I like the frequency bands they chose more than the bands on a typical bass EQ.
