Show me your compact pedalboard setup

So looks like I might be needing a slightly bigger board. Any suggestions still being as near as possible to the metro 16 in size? Was thinking about a mono 18 templeboard.

Temple Solo 18 (18x8.5) as compared to the Metro 16 (16x8). You also get the bonus of access to all the Temple side panel modules if desired.

Done with a new build of the board, having just gotten the Doom 2. Was hoping it would still fit on a metro 16, but I’m just about 0,5 inch short on the top row. Feeling the pedals are pretty much set now, but the mbd2 might get replaced by modulation or some kind of magic tone sweetener.

How do you like the DG Element, and how are you using it?

It should give just enough room, I think the usable width is just under 17 inches. A bit concerned that using the mounting plates might give some restrictions in placement, but dual lock is always a possibility I guess.

I’m using it mostly as a home practice headphone amp, and it works really well for that. Being able to connect backing tracks via bluetooth is nice. Can also see it being put to good use as IEM monitoring.

As a cabsim it has great vesatility, but I don’t really use that much cabsim any more. I’ve installed a filter preamp in my bass making it easy to dial down the clanky sounds down.

The things I don’t love are the input/output placements. What where they thinking? Especially since most will be placing this last in chain, makes pedalboard placement a headache. Also the power draw is high, but that is mostly a problem since I power the thing through my Noble.

I've never used the mounting plates on any of my Temple Boards. They are not necessary. I simply use Dual Lock like other pedalboards.

Also, you can overhang the grey side panels on the picture to get the full 18" of usability. You can even remove the handles if need be (though Im pretty sure the XLR will fit through the handle in to your Noble).

I’m looking for cab sims through IE’s at church!

Pulled the trigger. It will ship tomorrow.

How is the Vision? Just picked one up for my meager mod needs.

It's also pretty new, so I'm just putting it through its paces. So far, I'd say it's fair to midland. I've heard much better flangers, and phasers, and chorus pedals, but this has them all in one. I think it works better with guitar than with bass, but I'm not ready to swap it for something else. Yet. My eyes are fading fast - cataracts - so I'm having difficulty reading the yellow labels on the brown background. That was mentioned in the comments, but I didn't realize it would be so bad. I literally have to get up right to it and use a magnifying glass to see the labels. But I did manage to get a passable phaser sound, flanger sound, and chorus sound, though the chorus is the worst of the three. I haven't tried any of the other sounds yet, still working on those main three.

*edited to add - of course, the price of this one was much more reasonable than many other modulation pedals that feature a similar effects package.

Thanks. Don’t know if I read right, but it looks like there may be a way to run one channel at a time parallel to the dry sound. I only use mod on a few songs so I’m hopeful it will be serviceable.

It's NPSD!! (New Power Supply) it's the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power X8

...OK, I really wanted to be excited about this, but it is just a power supply after all.

I got this power supply because I needed something to power my HXS, and about 4 other low(ish) amp demand pedals (with the exception of the Drop.)

A brief unsolicited review, and some words of caution for those who may be interested in this particular unit.

The Good:
-Powers the Stomp great (using the Voodoo Lab current doubler cable), even under high demand presets.
-It's SUPER thin and fits under my Rockboard Duo 2.1, and I bet it fits under the PT flat boards too.
-Dead silent, I mean absolutely silent.

The Bad:
-Build quality...I've had a few Voodoo Lab power supplies before, they were great...but this one, not so much...I have $30 Amazon no namers that feel every bit as solid and didn't cost $170, shame on you Voodoo Lab.
-No IEC style plug, instead you've got this external inline “brick” you need to find a spot for...
-All cables have right angle plugs on both ends...this is great at the pedal connection, but at the power supply side there really isn't enough room to lay them flat...straight plugs there would have been better IMHO. o_O

I'm going to keep it because I got it for a silly good price, it suits my immediate needs, and I've gone through the hassle of fully integrating it into the board so...:meh:

Sad pic since I'm STILL waiting for my Polytune Mini...
