Why two pre amps? The ebs is better than that fishman, yes?

Why two pre amps? The ebs is better than that fishman, yes?
It's funny, I'm in the opposite situation. I love my Nano+, but at some point I'll probably have a Metro as well. My next big purchase is going to be an Oracle, and I can't bear to have it sideways. Plus I'd like to be able to put one or two more pedals on the board. This setup is great, but adding my octave, drive, and/or cabsim would be ideal. I have a Classic Jr, but haven't played a gig that needed that many pedals in years.
Here are a few of mine, anchored by an Oracle. Nano+, Metro 16, and Metro 20. Top one is my current rig. The Doom is in the Merbl's fx loop so I don't need quick access to the foot switch. View attachment 5115977

I have the Boss WL-60, and got it because with two basses I got tired of spaghetti round my feet on tiny stages.
very nice!
I have a new pedal coming tomorrow, so will post updated pics once it is here.

The EBS for bass guitar and the Fishman for double bass. Why two pre amps? The ebs is better than that fishman, yes?
I like my Rockboards, and the options for soft, flight, or molded cases. The recently came out with an almost Nano-sized one which I've been thinking to get for open mic situations, the other two boards I have feel too big for that.Golly I love a Nano+. I'm on a Metro16 these days and wish Pedaltrain would just release a Nano22 or 24. I've heard Rockboard has something in this size but I can't be bothered.
Have you played an acoustic bass guitar thru the Fishman? I would love to hear your feedback if you have. I play ABG strung with flats a lot and very interested in the Fishman preamp despite I am quite happy with the tones I’m sculpting with the Tone Hammer. The EBS for bass guitar and the Fishman for double bass.
No I only play double bass, not acoustic. The HPF, phase switch and notch filter work very well to fix feedback and unwanted rumble so it's probably well suited for acoustic bass as well.Have you played an acoustic bass guitar thru the Fishman? It's fantastic. Good headroom, lots of options without any menu diving. Definitely an overlooked gem for bass.Great looking board! What do you think of the Cyclone phaser on bass? I was very close to getting it myself.

Current gigging and rehearsal board.
Yep. The reverb does all that I need for a live performance. Of course my needs are small... and so is the pedal.Kewl-some of the li'l Joyo Iron Men are surprisingly good with bass and relative bargains that take little board real estate. I like the reverb and phaser. The wah is acceptable for occasional use but not great, and the compressor was a fail for me. I take it you find the reverb does what it needs to as well?
That compressor is kinda bulbus...Yep. The reverb does all that I need for a live performance. Of course my needs are small... and so is the pedal.![]()
Sounds great, too! Good thing the tiny reverb leaves lots of space for itThat compressor is kinda bulbus...
