There is a review between the HOF Mini and the Sky Surfer.
It's on guitar and not a complete review but it might give an idea of the tone difference.
I realise the HOF might sound better , i think the Sky Surfer isn't bad.

Tried the B3K up front before the LS-2 but I like how all the other effects sound through the B3K.
I just don't have any room for my Wooly Mammoth Clone. But the Little Bear BS1 sound great!

About the same size as a Pedaltrain JR. Half the price.
Yeah. Really liking it now. And now I have the option of going with two amps with the LS-2 also for recording so I'm all jacked up. The Big Muff was the wildcard. bought it on a whim and ended up really liking it. more vintage feel than the 90's grind that i get from the Blower box.
So I'm quoting myself. Love the kind of clean and gritty octave I get from the MXR but not pleased with the synth sub sound. Thinking of adding a 3 leaf, does it have a clean octave sound too? Also thinking about a mini bit crusher up top to insert after the octave before the envelope and maybe a vintage microtubes for later in the chain. If I need to keep the MXR octave I won't have room for both and the 3 leaf.
Any thoughts?
Gives my rhythm up dirt to fill solid out and low end dirt when required.

I've been so resistant to pedalboards over the years, but I finally decided I wanted to have all of my favorite boxes "at the ready". I slapped this together with some scrap plywood, zip ties, and a One Spot power supply. It's not exactly "compact" but it sure is less of a jumbled mess than having all of these boxes spread out on my floor.
Tried quite a few pedals over the last year - ended up happy with this
I am using it as a drive and preamp, I am still learning how to set it though.
It is a great little pedal. Very versatile. Mine was my main tone generator for awhile, and did it well.
Since nobody responded to my last request I bought them all.
This is the newish Voodoo Lab Dingbat Small with an ISO5 mounted underneath. I traded out the slightly larger Pedaltrain Jr for this because I was using a OneSpot and getting a high pitched noise with it chained. Started thinking about modding the board so I could put a power supply underneath and found the Dingbat. Really like it. Quality built and the case is very protective. Thumbs up from me!
