Show me your compact pedalboard setup

I totally understand. At first I thought I could ditch the Fdeck. But the Cali only addresses what is being compressed. However -- the Fdeck logically is eliminating and/or reducing lower frequencies wherever I set the knee, which means those are being taken out of the picture before the Cali begins processing what's left over. What surprised me was how the side-chain HPF provided additional sonic benefits even after the normal HPF processing.

It's a solid combo, that is for sure! And I expect the FDeck in front improves how the Cali performs overall, especially in conjunction with that side-chain HPF. Glad to hear it is working well for you :)

I used to put my HPF last in-chain, but re-ordered things a while back so that it goes before the compressor. So I certainly see the benefits to your selection. You'll have to forgive me, I read your message and thought you were expecting that Cali HPF to be a "separate" effect, but it's clear I was mistaken!

It’s the Noble hidden beneath. 🙂 (Do you see the knobs?)

I did actually after studying the photo closely. The EWI player showed up with a TA Duo a couple of weeks ago. He wanted to make his life simpler with easy unpacking/packing.

I'll probably get the Duo as well as I only bring my Line6 G10s and the wireless IEM to avoid all the unpacking, connecting, then disconnecting and packing everything back up. I leave home my Polytune and compressor to avoid this hassle.

Since my position is against the wall, I do leave three XLR cables (2 for IEM and 1 for G10s) on the floor but out of the way. My goal is to put everything on the pedal board including the IEM transmitter and just have a module for the 3 XLR inputs. All I would have to do is unpack the board, connect the power cable and the 3 XLRs into the board. Easy peasy.

The one issue I'm working out is the wireless transmitter. It's an Audio-Technica IEM system which is really designed for a rack. The display is facing forward, not up like pedals. I hardly access the controls nowadays, just the level knob occasionally. Might make something to give it a slant.

Looking at building a Nobelium for a tube DI instead of a Noble. Significant price difference but without the nearly one year wait. He's nearby in Santa Cruz, I believe. I wonder if showing up at his house and asking where's the retail store to get one quicker. He probably sense an opportunity and sell me one for $5k. About double his 2 month expedited price. lol.

Hello team !

Boss TU-3 is out after lots of years. Polytune has just arrived and it is amazing.
I forsee a downsize to Nano from Nano +
The pedal that will replace MT-2 will be IDIOTBOX effects 'blower box deluxe'
Truetone 1-Spot still gets the job done with no noise.

Thrash !
