Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Here’s mine.

I’m building a new one just to house my Subway + DI and Shure IEM receiver. The board I have them mounted on takes up too much space in addition to my main pedal board. My new design is a double decker (only 9” wide) and will have power mounted underneath for a single power cord, the strip I’m using also has USB A & C ports for power.

I finished the fabrication yesterday and plan to spray some color and finish it off today.

I pulled everything off and just went for simple ( ish ) this time ... currently in place feeding a stereo amp setup, but for typical use, I route through the superego, then the Aguilar pre - board. I've got the expression pedal for the M9 as well, and it's pretty crazy and versatile. Let's hope the rest of the band likes it :D

This little double decker is almost ready to make its debut this Friday/Saturday for another double header. I need to take some photos of the sides in the sun tomorrow, that flamed maple is stunning.

ON: Niche Humbolt DE, Southhampton Utility, broughton calamity, Cioks DC7 underneath.
OFF: Broughton Resound,Rumblefish and RFE.
Changed my mono board and went back to a pedaltrain so i cam mount the dc7 and its brace underneath. The Noble dedicated as a tube preamp with the Cioks dc7 powering everything hence, a more cleaner and clearer sound without the extra buzz and unwanted noise. just crystal clear tone.
i love this configuration buta also have a capo id like to add to the mix and replace the humbolt but the humbolt sounds great as well on this setup

Not sure this qualifies as "compact", but six pedals isn't much.

I've been prepping with a Cheap Trick tribute... don't know if there's much demand for that, but they have one gig on the calendar. Anyway, OC5 plus chorus plus dUg distortion gets me close to Tom Petersson 12-string territory.

I mainly use the ParaEQ for HPF/LPF, but it's nice to have all that tone tweaking just in case.

For less radical tonez I use the ME Super 300 SVT sim. Compression gives me a touch of extra sustain to simulate high volume in low volume situations.

My nano+ board (previously posted) uses scrunchies. I acknowledge that I'm a heathen for not using velcro (or power grip or whatever). :bag:

Hope you’re doing “She’s Tight”. Been trying to talk the band into doing that one for a while. One of us guys would have to sing it because our lead singer, she’ll have none of that song. :roflmao::cool:

Fun set-up. Still experimenting with drives. Rat is cool if the filter is all the way to the right to minimize low end loss. Any thoughts on a RAT for bass? Been looking at the Source Audio Aftershock recently but not sure about digital distortion.. Sounded best to my ears on some YT shootouts
Jam Pedals Bass Rattler, or Broughton Locust Star, if you can find them. Both are excellent bass-centric RAT circuits. Or the Idiotbox Blower Box (standard or Deluxe) as well!

Good suggestions. I'll add the Fuzzrocious Cat Tail or Cat King (formerly known as the Rat Tail and Rat King) as well as the most excellent (and super rare) Broughton Sentinel.

I'm putting a bow on this one, since I'm now done with the build and it has been loaded and tested for the first gig in about 3hrs.

I drilled the side for access to the input and finished it off with a rubber grommet and then strapped down all of the power and mounted the pedals on the shelves with 3M Double Lock and added some rubber feet to the bottom. I also found a really nice little case that fits perfectly (with matching blue padding). My load in/out time will be down to about 10mins now.

There is a Tremond rat listed presently that is excellent. I love mine. Great low end retention. @MikoFX

About a month ago I made the final (I mean it: final) version of my "nano" size board. Its for my weekly secondary band, as well as any rehersals and open mics. I also need this to be a fly board to fit my carry on backpack or duffle bag.
My whole original point was to make this small board using up leftover items stashed in my garage from previous setups, and to not spend much money doing so.
I had the Nano case but no board, so I made a board to the same size as listed in the site. This stayed nearly the same for almost 3 years with the mini wah, overdrive, tuner. Occasionally I'd have the chorus or sometimes would swap a Drop in there.
I really wanted both of those pedals on, so I measured the Nano case interior and realized it had more room to offer, so I could make a board maximizing the available space of the case.
I made the board with a riser, and sold The Drop in favor of a Mooer Pitchshift so I could put both mini's up top. I then got a Sushi Finally for tube tone as well as onboard DI. My secondary band is IEM (no amps) and we split two output signals; one for FOH that we can mute from the Boss, and one for the instrumentalist have our own on stage so we can "talk" between guest singers.

as someone who has mostly played without any pedals I've fallen from grace and put togther a pedal board. why?
1 - I got tired of clip on tuners and the poor tracking they have.
2. I need a compressor to tame a P bass with pickups which are a bit too hot.
3. - needed somewhere to put my octaver,
4 I occasionallly want a chorus, or whatever.
here's my solution
