Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Currently A/B’ing the California and British.....tough decision. I use the Pro Avi for both bass and synth bass (IRig Pro Keys/sampletank).
On a side note I pulled the Sansamp VT DI and sold it after getting the 2 Joyos. The VT DI is a great pedal....just not the sound for me. View attachment 3011835

Curious as to what board that is. It looks like it has hinges and a removable lid and isn't the size of a PT2. Just what I'm looking for!

It’s this one from Amazon, Rondo Music has them also.

agreed, it's a solid little tuner. The display took some getting used to, hard to describe but not the greatest choice on their part of how to show when you're "in tune". I definitely prefer the TC, but at 3x the cost that is hardly surprising.

I agree... doesn't really make sense that half the display should light up as "in tune."

Can you describe the sound of the Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Germanium Gold pedal? It looks intriguing...

It's a smooth optical compressor, not a lot of coloration. Attack is slow enough to allow the initial transient through. It has a clean blend function for parallel compression. Even at the lowest (highest? i.e. the setting that produces the least amount of compression) threshold setting there is still some compression happening, so this might not be a great comp for very high output basses. No low end loss to my ears. No visual indicator of compression.
The Grit feature is disappointing (for me anyway), given the name I thought it would be a subtle overdrive / fattening kind of sound. However, it's full-on distortion that you can blend in as much or as little as you want. On that front I think the Durham Sex Drive or the Fairfield Accountant have much more usable / controllable overdrive sound.

Thanks for the update. I've found that I rather like Optical Compressors the best, but mostly for "tonal magic" (i.e. Diamond BCP-1), so if it's mostly transparent, it's probably not where I'm looking to go.
