I’ve been playing since 2001 but started using pedals this year. This is what I’ve set up as of now but I think I’ll add some more in the future.
Trying the Boss GT-1000Core for the first time in a band environment replacing the HX Stomp.
Just finished putting the velcro on! I've got an EHX Bass Soul Food pedal coming in the mail to finish it off. My amp (TC Electronic BG250) has a built-in tuner and Tone Print, so I typically run the Spectracomp compressor on there, hence why there isn't a tuner or compressor pedal. Any suggestions for what pedals I should get next? I've still got some empty space to fill on the board.
Pretty happy with this setup into a Genz-Benz Neo-Pak 3.5 and one or two SVT 210avs! What would you add to the top left space? I'm thinking about delays/verbs..
A new iteration of my small pedalboard. The octaver and RFE are inserted in the clean FX loop of the EBS pedal.....

My current board. The MC6 Pro is controlling the C4 - changing presets, switching expression between parameters on the C4 and the HX. The second expression is just for the MXR.

I've been tempted about purchasing the new MXR Bass Synth. What are your thoughts about it?

Nothing that hasn't been said already - it's a great sounding pedal out of the box, but really needs some deep diving to get the most out of it. Not as robust as the C4, but easier to work with. They really did a great job designing it
Element is for DI/IE’s or quiet practice at home. Straight out of Stomp to my Katana 210 Power Amp in for live/stage sound.
Current home setup:
I like to mess around at home quite a bit, but when I build a board I like it to have a specific purpose. Board #1 is my Wahctave Fuzz board, and it’s really fun. Board #2 is the only one I’d call “essential” as it has my core clean tone and the splitting for running my dual-amp setup. Board #3 is my Mud Board (wet+dirt=mud) and it’s the second board I would take to gigs. It’s the added spice to my setup- not necessary, but it makes things even better. Board #4 is my effects loop board for creating wild ambient soundscapes. Really cool. I’d never take it to a show though, as it only sounds good solo. There are a couple of parallel loopers on there because I really like running dirt (somewhat) cranked with a nice clean blend behind it.

TU-3 Waza- always like keeping a tuner first in line, also acts as a kill switch
HPF - in addition to helping tighten up tone, it helps feed sensitive pedals a more consistent signal
OC-5 - which has recently replaced my MIJ OC-2 Octaver and my Octavbre Mini - the tone is better, it’s got “that” OC-2 sound, and enough low end I also kicked off a Meatbox because this is enough. I use it mostly for “synth” type sounds, and sometimes organ bass pedal type tones, and low B notes if I have a 4 string
Josh Wah - we do some funk stuff and this is a VERY usable and easy to tame envelope
Empress Comp - my new #1 fave - super usable, and love that grindy mid-bump option. Almost always on. Only this far deep in the chain because of the envelope filter which needs to be ahead of a comp so you can control the filter with dynamics
W&C Super Russian - so good!! The Phat Phuk germanium section is also often on, and the muff section w the creamy and flat mods on just slay. No need for a clean blend. I love using this on Spanish Castle Magic especially under the guitar solo section
EVH Phase 90 - w script on - mostly for Pink Floyd type stuff.
DOD Deep Freeze - just an amazing chorus, which I use for Jaco tones.
