Recently acquired Fender JP 90 PO refinish. Really well done. Poplar with a Tobacco Burst.Just for fun, post a photo or two of your open grained or wood stained bass (no painted or otherwise solid colored basses).
In other words, lets see that grain!
Stained is fine, so long as your bass shows the grain.
I just want to see who else is owning sexy woody basses.

(refinished with mahogany and ebony stain; first one then the other; light poly coat on body only).
I have a 2014 model and the PO replaced the factory PG with a non factory plain white PG with no WBW layering bevel. After seeing yours, I need to get the real BWB PG back on mine!!! Sweet!!!My 2012 Fender America Deluxe P Bass:

This is pretty subtle too....I really like the subtle visibility of the woodgrain on the back of this Spector Legend.
