Loved that band, saw them open for Rush on the Permanent Waves tour and they were fantastic

I'm planning on moving out of California when I retire. I want to get a home with a walk-out basement so that I can build out a home theater, rec room and a nice music room.

looks like the same Brazilian Teak floor I just put into my house.... or is that Walnut?
It's strand woven bamboo. It's kind of an old damp basement so we wanted to go with an engineered floor. Yours is beautiful
Ran out of wall space and my rigs are in another room!
Not so much water resistant but it is a composite below the finished surface and it's a floating floor. So can worry less about the floor buckling from expansion. It's also on a dry core sub floor and has a moisture barrier between the subfloor and finished floor.

I have a two bay garage for my workshop, and an office space/repair room to keep sawdust off people's guitars and basses, and a lounge area/bass room complete with a piano, my acoustic six string, and all my basses. Plus I have a large stand that I built for the basses in progress that I'm building.

You guys motivated me, I just ordered a couple of horizontal mount hangers so I can add room for more across the top row beneath the ceiling. It was either that or extend the entire house another five feet to make room
We live in AZ, where space is a premium. We are lucky enough to have a 3 bedroom home. It has no basement. There is the Master, a first guest bedroom decked out for grandchildren visitation; and the 3rd serves as a multi-purpose room for the office, optional 2nd guest bed (pull out sofa), and my music space. For music, I get the upper part of one wall and one smaller wall:
Other than those, my Sadowsky RV4 lives in the gig bag (goes out a lot) and my '62 Jazz is in it's case; both in the closet.
The bigger gig stuff is in a closet by the back door.

Well it's been a long time coming and I do need some more bass centric pics but this has consumed my nights and weekends since January...
