I don't know if he has done a walnut body. Not sure how that would sound. I know he uses walnut tops and necks.

In my grand scheme of things, I was hoping to get a figured walnut top on the Deep 5 and a redwood top on the MB2 6.

My MB2 6 wouldn't be too extreme. Just unlined, redwood top ash on the bass side and alder on the treble side (experiment), with a quartersawn neck and thinner back profile.

I would love to see those come to life...Redwood is beautiful.
and the double wood body (ala Dingwall) would be interesting. I like his approach in keeping the "purity" of the tone just by using your hands you can get alot of different tones out of these basses, very expressive instruments. If I were to order a fretless though I would inquire about LED's to help me see where I am in live situations. as is Im not comfortable YET in taking my fretless out to play live.

Another reason why the Rob Allen Mouse should be part of every bassists collection:

Some of you know i'm part of the ad agency team that does advertising for Jaguar. Well I finally got my own Jaguar '07 XK. One seriously awesome cat. But not designed for the bassist.

Unless you play a Mouse.

My Mouse and Phil Jones Briefcase fit! (which is good since the Mrs. would rather not carry my amp on her lap. The Deep 5 does fit in the hatch but it keeps you from bringing to much else). Probably have to stick to the old station wagon for gigs.

Well, I don't think that is going to be a problem for me for a while... :)

Is that strap the planet waves leather one? How do you like it?

They caught my eye the other day and turns out those are made in Argentina (I read that on their site) and since I was born there I thought I would get one for my basses for nostalgia purposes. I knew they looked a lot like some other Argentinean leather products around my house.

Hye Rich...what case is that in the back of the Jag?
I don't suppose you know if that'd hold a Reverend?
TKL no longer make the "coffin case" that Rev's came in, and that look similar.

The case came with the mouse. its a protec. (very nice. reinforced. great construction)

can i measure it for you? PM me.

Dude, one of the best looking cars today with one of the best looking basses today. Wow.:eek:
