Less barking, more wagging!
Rob won't do it unless you want to drop a lot of cash. He doesn't like doing it and he will charge you accordingly. Of course there would be more variety, but their are better basses out there if you want variety.
As everyone stated, Rob doesn't like buffering the mags to the piezo and charges accordingly. Since I'm the Rob Allen MB2 mag buff.....I can tell ya, the bridge mag on an MB2 offers some sweet bright tones and my neck pickup more/less gives the bass conventional electric bass tones. Oddly enough, the piezo can cover ~90% of these tones. I'm not saying that the neck pickup sucks, but you can come extremely close to those tones with the piezo and the right technique. You can even come somewhat close to the bridge mag sound with the piezo, but mine is a shade brighter.
Perhaps this might surprise ya, but I wouldn't think a mag would do much on the Mouse 30 that you wouldn't already have at your fingertips, literally. You can make your bass go from upright to some quasi fretless J bass sounds by changing your hand position and attack. Honestly, you can change your tone dramatically without flipping any switches or turning any knobs. That's the beauty of a piezo in a Rob Allen bass.
So...despite the big upcharge, I'd order it on an MB2 to tap into some of the additional brightness, but the Mouse 30 doesn't need one.

The piezo pickup under the bridge is still mounted on a solid center block. I don't think it's possible for these basses to feed back.

From the recordings I've heard so far, a Rob Allen could come pretty close to being a do-it-all bass, at least for the kind of music I'm playing these days, and they're lighter than my current 5-string

how did you record it?
Mouse -> Presonus eureka using the compressor, EQ FLAT, Logic 7.
I don't remember if I Eq'd or added anything in logic.
The compression is really noticeable.
Oooooh, a Redhead...The tp almost looks like alder that was tinted red.
Another fine example of Rob's eye for bookmatching artistry. Sweet.
