Show us your bass knobs!

If you are after something unique, I would check out Etsy. Bought some interesting stainless steel bell style knobs on there for a guitar I no longer have (do not have photos of the knobs either so not posting them here).

Just a barrel knob, but changing the color can be nice.

I think Guyker [Stylish Knobs by Guyker | Personalize Your Instrument's Controls] makes some nice knobs - modern takes on traditional styles. And you can find most of them available on Amazon and ebay.

Philadelphia Luthier does engraved barrel and top hat style if you're looking for something a little more personal
Agreed. Had these on the Sire P7 I just sold. Very nice.

Most people are already aware, but lemme throw out a PSA on knob sizing for anyone new.

Split shaft pots are 6mm, and come in both fine and coarse splines. (18 or 24 IIRC). Press on knobs should match what you have unless you want to heat up the shaft and melt the knob onto the shaft (not recommended.) Knobs for 1/4 inch shafts will sit crooked on split shafts unless you use little brass adapter sleeves, I recommend Allparts brand.

Solid shaft pots are 1/4 inch (6.35mm) and knobs for split shaft won’t fit. Gotta get 1/4 inch knobs.

Dual pots have different sizes too, but I won’t go into it.
