Gettting a tat at ANY age isn't just lame, it's cliche. Getting one over 40 is just plain sad

I LOVE THIS ONE!!!!
i was thinking about (eventually) getting F holes either side of my torso, but instead of being solid black, maybe having a biomech inner, or having ribs and mussel showing through...
those two are my tattoos..Some more swiped from the fender MySpace page:

right... thanks for that... that's put me right off the idea of having a bass guitar tat... too many straight lines... the guy should have used a ruler for those...
I'm thinking of a Bass Clef with bar's worth of blues shuffle shaking on the staff... and the staff having nice gracefully curved lines...
I am guessing on the octopus one it's cause the legs or tenticles on it is curved sorta like a bass clef...maybe?? I haven't gotten thru this whole thread yet, so if someone already said that, sorry!uhh... Octopus = Bass![]()
Photo of Los Angeles bass player, Gizmo, with an amazing tattoo of Les Claypool. Taken at Bass Player Live 2008, appears in the Feb 2009 issue of Bass Player Magazine.

those tatts are of two of my basses..I drew out the original design (got the bass "wings" off the internet but drew into my design). The red one was done too light tho, it's faded a lot. I was VERY happy with the one on my ankle.
