Wow, so many amazing looking (and, as we know, sounding) basses in this thread! It’s so sad that G&L is no more.

Here’s my G&L collection, which are also my three main players (all USA and all with flats):

L to R:

1. L2000 - Electric Blue, 1998, #6 (1.5”) neck, K mod
2. L2500 - Shoreline Gold, 2020, K mod
3. SB-2 - Cherry Sunburst, c. 1995, tuned in Eb

I'll try to keep it going:
Lefty JB MFD lucky to get one looks like they only made 5 lefties. @donahue was lucky to get one as well.
I've added a 60's stack pot control plate after taking this pic.

Love the aging on that Wunkay. Being a lefty is SO MUCH harder to get you righties are spoiled!

The SB-2 and the ASAT Bass Signature fretless have gone... I still own and play the Jan. '97 L-2500 Custom in the middle.

Yours is the type of L-2500 I like; 4+1 headstock, where the upper waist & upper horn is more full. Looks much nicer than the later models late ‘97 onward.

G&L JB Tribute, not a mark on it. This was one of the series that came with the wrong neck, and G&L sent me the right neck, no charge. There's a thread somewhere in which I told the story. It's a sweet bass to play.
