G&L Tributes LB-100 & JB. IMHO, G&L Tributes and Sire Marcus Miller Fender Clones made in Indonesia... are better quality than MIM Fenders.

First Audere, now G&L. …gettin tougher being in the musical equipment business.

A lot of them seem to be having cash flow problems. Keeley too had to take unusual steps to generate working capital, and I think others are getting hit by increasing costs of parts, high interest rates, etc. Just not that much demand. When I asked a young friend at gym, who has lots of friends in tech industry with home music studios, if any of them needed a bass player he said "oh, no. They just synth that in from a midi."

Glad I purchased my Tributes when I did... both bought new in 2021. The absolute only negative with these basses for the money paid, is the weight. I don't care about weight of bass like others do on this forum, so it's a non-issue for me and not a negative. LB-100 weighs 10.5 lbs, JB weighs 12 lbs.

I've owned a number of G&Ls since I first got acquainted with them seven years ago. Here are some I still have: A modded 2008 USA SB-2 (with a 2021 neck) and two stock Kilotons, a 2018 USA and a Tribute.
