Which models are these?Three GREAT basses from '83, '97 and '91. I also have an old F-100 6-string, equally awesome.

First and second generation SB-2 and an L-2000.Which models are these?
I have been looking for one of these. Had one best 5'er I have played.I'm going to add the oddball.
1994 L-5500. The one with EMG's, wide nut, chunky neck, 4+1 headstock. 18v mod.
Very clean tone, room filling sound. Piano-like clarity when left natural, and a great foundation for effects. This through a lush chorus is magic.
And...12.6 lbs. Perfectly balanced, because the whole thing is crazy heavy. When I play this bass I'm bringing 60% more bass that the next guy. Win?

I used to fantasize about adding a pickguard to my L-1000. Made patterns and everything always hesitated.
I love this bass!!Hearing the news that G&L is gone (or about to be sold) and owning a G&L myself, I feel kinda lucky.
In honor of this sad news please post photos of your G&L basses. I'll start...
This is a 2024 G&L CLF L-1000, Build-to-Order in Pearl White over an alder body, with a maple neck, rosewood fretboard, and matching painted headstock
