Where did he put it up for sale? I just checked his website and the TB classifies and don't see it there.
Ha! The last place I'd expect since he rarely posts ;-) Glad he did though! It's also very tempting...the general layout reminds me of my main gigging 5 string of his, and I'm always tempted by headless
Other than my semi hollow basses, I'm going full on headless.
I might be heading that direction also. We shall see.

What made you decide on the Katalox fingerboard over the Ebony? Would you believe that I have actually been thinking of having a 6-string built with Katalox?
I've heard that it's very much like Ebony, but a little less glassy on the top end, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Martin thinks he has a piece already that's wide enough for my bass. I believe he and Ken Lawrence were the two earliest adopters of Katalox.

I really think Martin has something with his headless design. I'm looking forward to getting one in my own hands.
