It just struck me that the two basses on top probably weigh more than the three basses on the bottom pic. That's certainly an ashload of Peaveys.

Hell yeah, they qualify. Sweet pair of working basses!

For a long time, my two favorite battle axes were a mismatched pair of MusicMans: black/black Cutlass I with graphite neck, black/black Sabre with birdseye maple neck.

In a word, superb - it has a very distinctive character. Really 'graphite' sounding and incredibly smooth to play. I have some shoddy samples somewhere, I will dig them out for you.
