They do some really nice CNC milling, especially the motorcycle parts, that requires a 4th axis and a whole bunch of extra programming. As a life long CNC nut, I'm rather impressed

I like the way they do the guitar bodies, they're beautiful. I don't wan't that much metal in mine, just a substructure. I need to get moving on my idea

This sucks! I found this and it seems like someone already has a patent on what I was thinking about. I'd really like to read the patent to see that it covers. I wasn't thinking of making mine as "open" as that, just connecting the neck to the bridge with some fancy CNC milling

I've been interested in trying one of the Travis Bean or Vaccaro, but the headstocks are just so damned ugly. It's petty, I know, but I just cannot get past them in any way.

The later Hartke Vaccaro's have a sort of Warwickesque headstock shape.

Ok, what is the forth axis? I can not for the life of me figure this out. I can figure out X,Y and Z (depth), but what is the forth? I know that I am going to feel like an idiot for this.
