Show your amps! Part 2

I sold my Ampeg 6x10 last month, and hope to replace it with either a Mesa 4x10 or 2x12, or something similarly portable. Also, I took this photo hours before my Korg DTR-2000 arrived, so just kind of visualize it there :)

Played a big gig for the city of Bettendorf Iowa on the fourth and once again it made me wonder why I lust after other gear.Beautiful day,big stage, good sound and lots of people that seemed to have a good time.We were pretty loud and my rig just cut through great, very clear and tight.I played my TL5 for the first time live and it was great.Even with my bass rig kicking the guitars and drums came through and the vocal monitors were clear.Very good time.I don't have a picture from this year but here's one from last year.

I just picked up a Aguilar GS412 used on Craigslist (great deal!) and then gave into GAS and bought a new Phil Jones Bass M-500 to power it. (My enormous cat "Beastie" makes the rig look smaller than it really is!)

Here's another one taken from a normal standing perspective:

I can't wait to play this at full volume! (I'll be taking it to a follow-up audition this Wednesday.) I live in a townhouse, so I've kept it very quiet so far -- but the tone is great.

Your cat looks like a "bad ass dude".

I'll betcha Mr. Tom Bowlus doesn't have one of these. :rollno::D

But seriously, folks. When I want to mow down the first 10 rows without bringing out multiple cabinets, this humble (and stupid light) setup seems to be adequate. Man, am I getting lazy.:p;)

P.S. This is what you get for resurrecting a thread from December of '06.
