Show your amps! Part 2

Alot of people here have the GK1001 RB. I am starting to think my rig is serious overkill....LOL :bassist:

how do you like that neo 4x12?
nice wal btw

It is UNBELIEVABLE. Has all the boomy punchy lows of the 10" speakers. Mids shoot right through you and cut any mix. Nice highs. Overall I am very impressed. The cats on this board with 1001RBs talk about their rig being "loud". If the 1001RB paired with a Neo212 is loud then I honestly don't know how to describe this rig...perhaps...Ludicrous? LMAO! :hiding: :D

Awsome set up man. Are you building custom cabs and placing the guts in them? I've never seen an Ampeg cab with that kind of space for rack gear. And I'm not very fermiliar with Dr. Bass cabs, but I've never seen a Dr. Bass combo with an Ashdown head inside.

And whats that Blue Jazz on the wall in the background, if you don't mind me asking?

According to his profile two of those items appear to be:

SX SJB-62
Ampeg SVR-212

IIRC, on the Ampeg, one 12 fires out the back

here's a stock photo of mine. this will remind me to take one of my actual rig later.
It perhaps pales in comparison to some of the other rigs. but its portable, easy to use,
only needs 2 cables, and works for just about every jazz gig from a bigband to a trio.

The Dr. Bass 1x15 w/ the 2U airhead is my newest cab that I bought off a buddy, and I just got the Ashdown this week. With the 2x10 it makes a pretty cool little inexpensive rig. And Billy was right--an Ampeg SVR-212 and an SX jazz on the wall.
