Yes, it is an amazing cabinet! Quite heavy though, but if someone wants great bass tone and wants it loud then you need a cabinet with lots fo speakers that can move that air! Thats exactly what the basson does. I just cant wait to get the Big Block 750, its going to bring it to live better than my RBI will!

I was going to ask what amp you chose to drive that monster - they reccomend at least 500w for the 2x10!!!
I sold it because I was no longer playing enough gigs to justify it and in the end I sold the mesa too and bought a podxtpro which I use for everything now and it gives me such a clean and detailed sound, I love it. It was a shame to see it go but needs must. I assured Shaun at basson that when I next get an amplified rig then I will be getting another basson for sure.

I have to send it to a tech to get repaired, then i will put on proper Orange Tolex (now it's painted with left-over paint for walls).
As you can see in my sig i got a different cab now, but haven't taken any pics with it. My bass is also strung with Evergreens now.
I'm lookin to add a 15 or a 2x12 pretty soon. either that or something to fill in that rack space.

I'm pretty sure that head sounds great through the Trace cabs. How is it though those natural wood bass bins? Does it have that "chest of drawers" sound or a "dresser vibe"? There are two. Are they each 8 ohms or 4?
