I got it about a year ago, and it cost me about $430. It came with all original tubes and speaker, but I replaced them. It sounds better and has more headroom with the new speaker. (Obviously I kept the original stuff too). I hear a lot of people say that the old Ampeg flip top amps are good for recording, but not for gigging, but I've used it on gigs a lot. It sounds great for low volume gigs. I've even miked it a few times.

Hey Jacob:

Great deal as far as I'm concerned. I can't believe I got rid of my old Ampeg B12 in 1971 - I think I sold it for $50! :bawl:

Here's the latest incarnation of my gig rig:
Fender Bassman 300 Head
Fender Pro 410SL Cabinet
The rack has my wireless,tuner,power strip,and the always handy rack drawer for tools,strings and the like.
PS- The Head and Cab are for sale if anyone's interested.See my post in the "For Sale" forum.
The head and cab are 6 months old, FYI.

Here is a picture of my Peavey Classic 400 BEFORE with my two Peavey 410TX Cabs. Since this picture was taken last year, i've sold the two 410TX cabinets and replaced them with one Peavey Pro 410 Cab AFTER.
Life is now a hole lot lighter and on wheels to boot.
