GreyBeard, speaker leaning against wall is one of my two Aiwa stereo speakers I use for practicing.
I should have moved it out of the shot.

OK, this thread is too much fun (for me anyway) to let slip away yet...
I showed this picture to a friend and he thought it was quite funny...this shows the beginnings of my obsession with gear.
I built these amp models (not the Line 6 kind) back in about 1973 or '74 when I was just a young teen. If I had my first bass at the time I would have been playing through a converted Hi-Fi tube amp and a home built 2x12 (which was later replaced by a 4x10 that I built using BIC Venturi woofers...if I had only had the vision to port the box and add a tweeter I could have created a revolution in the mid '70s...but that's another story entirely).
Notice that Action Jackson, the bassist, is playing a Ric 4001 that I fashioned out of a piece of scrap wall paneling. He's playing through an Acoustic 370 head with two 301s, a Marshall (Major of course) and a Hiwatt (probably a 400 watter) with an assortment of cabinets. The guitarists is playing a Les Paul though a bunch of Marshalls...poor drummer never did get any cymbals...
Needless to say, 30 years later I still get all goofy when I see a wall of amplification...![]()

Wow, lots of pretty lights. Is that a filter you have on the camera lens, a red light in the room or what?
Wow nice! How does it sound?Originally posted by Craig Garfinkel
