I'm not sure what brand and model the speakers in the left cabinet are, they have no labels on the back. They do sound really great though. The ones in the right cab are original. That is a great price for a Dual Showman red-knob, they make great bass amps. Lots of power and tube goodness.
Does anyone know the reason for putting the speakers like that?
What would be the benefit?
Spreading the sound better all around(in theory)?

I wonder what that sounds like with just the grande.... I've heard bill dickens sub by itself and it sounds really nice for fretless, but not the 21 solo. Love to hear that sometime.

I had & played a gig with just the Grande(my other cab bit the dust in the beggining of the show). It definetly can't do anything alone besides very sub stuff, I tried & not knocking it, it's definetly in need of another support cab for a full range sound...

They are loaded with 12" speakers and tonewise the cabs are very clear but go remarkably low. If your going to get one of these I have two words for you...lift weights
