iunno, a can of spray paint is 5 bucks (canadian) so like 3.50 for u yanks..
its just fun to take stuff apart...ill probably paint more stuff on it this summer...
its just a fun way to pass to the time
and u can always paint it black again...or take a power washer to it if the paint is adding up.

Back after a long break...
I finally got my new rig a few days ago. It's a 1966 Kustom 745PA. It's the old tuck and roll style, so it's all ready for lounge work
I'll post a picture soon. It's got that sweet, sweet tube flavor...

Not the best pics, they didn't survive cropping and resizing very well... 
The rack is used for both rigs, as well as some keyboard stuff.
33 tubes in all, unless I lost count, but I dont use them all at once.

Ok here's my junk explained, I'll try not to be too long but it's a big rack.
Peavey Classic 400 (400 watts, all tubes, 8 6550/KT88's) into Cerwin Vega B36 MF
That's the cab on the left, old 18" folded horn plus the 12" you can see.
Replaced the stock 12," it looked like a guitar speaker, with a Carvin bass 12."
Mesa 400+ into SWR Henry 8X8.
2 rigs, not played simultaneously, I tried it just to see, and they sound
so different that they step all over each other.
Rack has a mixer and an Emu XL7 in the angled top, bottom unit in front is Korg M3R,
just keyboard stuff that hangs out in my rack.
The obligitory Korg Tuner and Furman Power conditioner, plus SWR interstellar Overdrive, Effectron ADM 64 and 1030 (old blue delay/chorus type things), 2 Sennheiser wireless units, old DBX noise gate. The two funky little silvery/grey things are an Aguilar DB924 that's just sitting there to fill in space left by the homemade rackmount job on the Moogerfooger MF101. I tried to sell the MF prior to its conversion, but I'd sunk almost $300 into it including 3 expression pedals and I had no serious offers at $200, so figuring I was stuck with it I might as well get it off the floor.
