Thanks, unfortunately that exact reason... and the fact it weighs 800,000 pounds are the main reasons I hardly use the setup! The amp was restored, but the guts are original... including the CTS speakers. Its loaded with NOS tubes and it is as clean inside as on the outside.

I hear that... I'm lugging around 100lbs of Glass and Copper myself. :bassist:

I call it "The Wall of Sound."

This is phase one of my current rig. I'm going to pick up another Schroeder cab (a 410) and push it with another SVP1600. I'm still kicking around whether I'll get effects or not - this rig's tone still has a lot to say, and I haven't even pushed it (yet).

I use an Ampeg BA-210SP for practice, but here's my big rig:

The PLX-3402 is running stereo, giving each Avatar B410 Neo 1100 watts. The PLX-2402 is bridged, giving each Aguilar GS-212 1200 watts, for a total of 4600 watts. :bassist:

Hows it treating you?

Since the EDEN Para-EQ is very very effective it took a while to find my sound. (Needed cut on 1,2Khz).

I´m very happy with it. The 112XLT´s are so light and portable.
I wanted to size down from my Hartke 4.5 XL, but the sound is bigger now.
I also liked the sound of the 12´s over the Edens 10´s with my jazzbass.
It´s warmer IMHO.
And two of them are loud enough for almost any situation for me.

Not the best pic (all i've got is my camera phone), but I know I haven't posted any pics of any of my monstrosity cabs before.

Sealed 4x12+2x10 (2x12+2x12+2x10 chambered) in an Ampeg 8x10 size box.

Amp:
BBE 383
BBE 462
Behringer Composer Pro
simple custom effects in a 1 space rack (took some pedal designs and put them in a rack and built a custom snake+footbox to control them: tube fuzz/overdrive, muff clone, impedance matcher for my piezo EUB, etc)

Basses include: spalted custom 5 string with MM, custom 4 string P '51 fretless (white) and 5 string Fender P.

Real loud, real low, real defined when loud and low. It's a bear to lug around but my bandmates like that I never need PA support.
