It's absolutely great in every aspect: punchy, articulate, loud, ...
I don't notice any mid scoop at all (as others have stated) with this cabinet.

I must confess though that I prefer my EVO500/Aggie212 or even better EVO500/Aggie212/Aggie112 combination.
But that is only for the big big stages :)

I am usually using the 112 for inear gigs, the 212 for "normal monitoring" gigs and both cabs on big/outdoor stages for the fun of it.

But every combination sounds great with the EVO500!!
It sounds better that any SWR amp or my Sansamp RBI/QSC rig.

+1

I use the same exact setup and it's wonderful. (BTW gillento you have great taste!)

I agree that the EVOII+GS212 sounds way better than with just the GS112. I do hear the mid scoop of the GS112 when playing it at low volumes.

Finally, the whole setup (EVOII/GS212/GS112) is just incredible! Too bad I don't need to play this setup on every gig.

*Derails thread* So I guess you'd both recomend the GS112 for gigs where an ABM 410 isn't an option (transport and space on stage) Can the GS112 hold up to loud drummers?

However I am contemplating the ABM 115 compact to put under my 410 for bigger stages and just the 115 for those smaller gigs. Does anyone have one of those cabs??

Sure, the GS112 is a perfect cab to match with the ABM500 for small gigs as it can take a lot of power. No problem to hold up with a drummer but obviously if you play punk-rock that may not be your cab. It depends what's your definition of "loud drummer".

I've played the ABM115 compact during four days sometime ago. While it's a good match to the ABM410, I'd not recommend it for a standalone cab. The GS112 is better for this and is also way more compact.

MAG C210T. Not the best shot since it's sitting in the back of the trailer, but I just got this a few weeks ago and love it. You can even see part of the Union Jack on the box in the background. I was looking to replace the MAG 300 and Avatar 210 I had stolen around Easter. For $60 more than the Mag 300 head, I was able to get this "B-stock" model from AMS. I can't find anything wrong with it. I've used it a a couple of pratices, but it will get the first gig test in 2 weeks.

I just took delivery of this Ashdown MAG. It's a 400W 410.

like to know how that all goes Giantslacker, really glad to see this thread as i'm after the Mag 210 combo and it's good to see happy people with ashdowns.

This is my little C300-110 - it's a 1x10 300watt combo - very cool! (if it's not obvious, it's the one on the bottom!)

I've used it with a goliath III with great results - haven't tried it with the GK Neo4112 yet! Actually, my son uses it more now and he digs it too! I've used it alone for restaurant gigs with full band (cajun/zydeco) and just used it yesterday for a rehearsal with a full band as well(top-40/disco) Very cool little amp!
