Hey there, can you comment on the tonality of the cl cab? There's so little written about them. Especially the mids and highs
I think its much more of an all around cab than other Ashdowns ive played. I had some abm 115s and 410s with blue line speakers and found the highs a bit muffled. The CL is similar to the good years of the ampeg 810. Good all the way thru the spectrum. I think the ampeg has a bit more pronounced mids to me, where the Ashdown has just the right amount when set flat. I always cut the mids a smidge on ampegs cos they seemed a bit mid forward, and I'm not one to cut mids usually.
Also i dont notice the lowend attenuation with the Ashdown that ampeg 810s seem to have. It replicates your lows very well.
Here's my old Mag 300 must of been one of the very last UK made ones before they went p.r.c
Combined with an old peavey tvx 4 ohm its still fairly potent. I did have a mag 410 but sold it and downsized then upsized again. I liked the mag 410 too but the peavey is a little louder I think.
I actually like this setup tone wise to an ag500 and abm 500 evo iii I had prior. Although I would like an upgrade/change its hard to get rid of something that is still getting the job done. Think I will keep it for a little while longer then upgrade my whole rig.
On another note. My Girlfriend hates all the amps etc in the living room. Especially the scruffy large peavey cab lol.

V nice! How's the tone and volume in a live band? Have you had chance to push it into overdrive yet? Wandering how far you can go before it breaks up?
Haven't played live with the abm410 yet. Certainly it's not huge clean headroom though. Love the sound. It's all meat- no vegetables.
I thought I would play my Acoustic B600HD today at home messing around with the EQ and came across a setting a liked. After playing with it for awhile I made the mistake of turning it off and plugging into this:
Wow does this amp kick major booty. While the Acoustic sounds good, it's just totally missing the heft and magic of the Ashdown. So I thought I would log on here and post a picture of this awesome amplifier. I think it's going on my next show this coming Friday.

Ashdown 410T Deep paired with Peavey MiniMega 1000 and a Sire V7.
Ashdown LB30 head, on top of a Classic Neo 115 cabinet. Loving it!
I like the tone/sound a lot, although it's quite heavy. No worries for me though - I've never been in a band and probably never will, so I don't need to lug it anywhere!
P. S. I bought that cab dirt cheap because it was pretty foul. (I posted a restoration thread a while back). Put roughly a hundred bucks into restoring it, and it looked like brand new afterward.
Holy Moly! This Ashdown Engineering ABM600 is REALLY great sounding! After having played the original Evo, Evo 2, Evo3 and Klystron amps, this one is a superb upgrade!

I am looking into getting a new ABM 600 RC.. I also have a new Genzler 212 cab. similar to your neoz. .How do you like the combination of those two? Can the ashdown drive the cab well enough?

I am looking at getting the new ashdown ABM 600...... How does it compare to the older abm500 evo II ?
Is it as powerful? As thick? I had a 500 and it was great.. Does it have as much clarity?
I am also a Mesa WA user and love its tone. But it come short on headroom at times unless i have good PA support..
I also have a few Class D amps that i love for when i want that. The Magellan 800 is killer as is the Peavey MM1000..
But the Ashdown just looks right up my alley. Im looking for more detailed info on it.. Not much here
