Actually what looks like an EUB is really my guitarist electric Cello.I would show my Ashdown, if it worked...Still waiting on the repair shop.
I was going to take a picture before I put some scratches on it, but the whole thing broke before I could even take a picture.
Ashdowns sounds/looks amazing! Really goes well in my apartment, and I can't fit very much in there. So I have to be selective.

just bought an ashdown ABM 500.. sounds great and kicks the crap out of my ampeg svt3pro for volume and grit! sounds great with an svt410hlf cab.. would like a berg nv610 though.
i used to own a mag 250 head and mag 410 cab ( british made) but sold them to fund my ampeg rig..
i will be selling my svt 3pro now!

I have one that I run a Nemesis NA320 through. Its a good sounding light-weight cab. Good cab for the price.

I have an ABM500 EVOII on the way right now which is replacing my Eden WT-550 which was too squeaky clean for me but a great head just not for this guy.
I am going to try using my two existing Eden D112-XLT's. It will be interesting becuase they are quite aggressive in the midrange freqs so I used the Enhance (mid-scoop) on the WT-550 to compensate. If they do not work I will in the market for some cabinets as well. A certain well know bass only store on the west coast of the US loves the Ashdown heads but has stated he did not care at all for their cabinets. Anybody got any comments on that? He recommenced BagEnd, Agi, Berg instead.

As I've A/B-d an ampeg SVTII PRO, and an LMII, I think you'll be quite unhappy... if not in tone, than in volume, and weight!
Askia... im not playing huge venues right now... just small gigs. Maybe around 20-50people.
Also i like tube sound alot better than SS, im playing a stoner and kind of need the tube-drive sound :/

Everyone has an opinion on what cab they like and what works for them. I run an Ashdown ABM 115 combo & ABM 210 cab and it works great for me. When shopping note that the ABM 210 is a rear ported cab where many other manufacturers are front ported. I had a Berg HT210S at one time and it was great also. What I should have done is have both and switch off but I am a poor well below average bass player.
The Ashdown cabs don't really seem to be too popular on this side of the pond and some say reliability is an issue. Reliability has never been an issue for me other than a problem I once had with their ABM RPM preamp. I previously left my rack a great deal in my car and the glue/silicone on the power switch had come loose. Was my fault as it's not made to handle bumps in the car all the time.

I like it... definitely louder! To my ears it adds a little fullness to the low end (all subjective though). With only the combo, I get 180w max output, but with the 115 cab I get the full 300w. To be honest though, most times I play, I just take the 410 because a)the venue is small and it is more than enough, and b) I don't want to lug it around.
