had my mag c210 t300 about a week now and loving it.
was wondering about a good starting point for settings, i currently have it
bass = 11oclock
220 = 12
mid = 1
1.6 = 1
treble = 3
deep in
bright in
sub in at 11

was also worried about where to put the input but 3/4 sounds like it should be ok any other suggestions would be good though.
just need to get a better picture now.

Ashdown MAG C410T-300 Combo Bass Amp with Ashdown MAG 115 1X15" Deep Bass Cabinet

I've had this setup for about 2 months now. No issues so far and I'm very happy with the sound this puts out. I played a medium sized venue with just the 4x10 combo and it was plenty loud, but wasn't "felt" as much as I would like. With the expansion cab now added it's still plenty loud, but now it can definitely be "felt" as well as heard.

Ive got an eb-12-180, which is just a grossly underpowered version of your head,......

my suggestion is to run the input at 100%....then use the output to set your volume....it sounds more "saturated" and more clearly defined at 100% than at any other setting...

just a thought...

had my first full test of the amp last night at practice with the band
set the input to 3/4 and the output to about the same but had to back it off a bit as it was kinda farting a touch, but fortunately this just appeared to be the speakers breaking in and once they had softened a bit the sound was much much better and i could turn it up a bit more, comments from the band members were all good, the drummer was well happy as he could now hear me more and everything is much more defined (including my mistakes). the guitarist's only down comment was that he wanted me to get a bit more low end in there but i think i can dial more of that in as the speakers 'mature' but adding a 1x15 cab would ceratinly solve that. all in all very impressed and it ceatinly shook the room, hard to pick out if the cab was distorting but i think it was really just the room vibrating and at last i could feel what i was playing clearly. certainly looking forward to the next practice so i can try and tailor the sound a bit better and start to relax concerning what the combo can handle.
i'll give the input full a try but keep an eye on the vu though it never got close to halfway.
