Big Muff With Tone Wicker (I love how it sounds with my bass!!!)

Normal Sick Setting:

Volume: 10:00
Tone: 11:00
Sustain: 12:00
Tone and Wicker On

Or a sicker one:

Volume: 10:00
Tone: 09:00
Sustain: 02:00
Tone and Wicker On

Or a deeper and sicker...

Volume: 12:00
Tone: 07:00
Sustain: 04:00
Tone and Wicker on, also works with Tone Off, but brace yourself...

My big muff setting involves another pedal.
I use a boss DS-2,with everything set to 12 oclock (and not the boosted distortion),which cascades into the big muff, with volume set 1-2 oclockish, tone completely flat and gain at 1-2 oclock.

All knobs at 10.00 & set dry... I like that vintage growl and boost it gives to my bass. I do have to say I have a set of SPB-3 and mostly if I set the BBM volume much higher than 10 it sounds like a big explosion when I engage it, not in a bad pop way but just like if it'd sound as somebody would have touch the gain on my amp.

That's why I did the additional volume pot mod. I didn't like the way the volume increased when turned up high. Now I can get straight-up distortion without volume jump.

Set to DRY

This changes periodically, as I find this pedal A BITCH to get sounding good. Anyone recommend a better Muff? I really like that powdery muff sound on QOTSA and Desert Sessions stuff, can't get that sound from this pedal at all.

My setting (found it here on TB):
V: 12
T: 9
S: 9
Mode: bass boost

Works great, but it like the pedal sometimes changes the sound :S
Have you experienced this? That you find a setting you like and the later it sounds like ****?
