about once a year or more often depending on how
much its in use, very low draw like a ceiling fie/smoke detector, I have a Keith McMillen
Batt-o-meter you plug the 1/4 inch plug into your output jack it tells you the power% and how many hours are left
very handy device for testing AA,AAA and 9v...Keith McMillen Instruments Batt-O-Meter
