Instead I went for this:

Actually, Wadge, I'm pretty sure Bartman's is ash/rosewood. That being said, both Bartman's '59 burst and your natural with white pearl p/g and blocks are two of the most beautiful basses I've ever seen (along with Munji's pink Lakland). Stunning, all of them.

Pete is doing some killer inlays these days! I love his use of wood in his block inlays and the size he's making them. When I was brainstorming my 7 there were a couple things I've seen with blocks that bug me.

1.) I HATE when ERB's have blocks that are sized like they are getting inlayed on a 4 string Jazz neck.
2.) I don't like guitars / basses without a first fret inlay.

Your bass would be perfect with a first fret block
