Yes, but now it can be correctly in-tuned! (playing with less distress!)

and with the new blade style pickups, all the strings make the right amount of sound!
(the original pickups were literal guitar pickups with half the magnets... the spots that were populated for a 6 string obviously didn't come close to the 4 string spacing).

An update of my MJT build. Got a neck that I like, haven't sent it off for finishing but should here withing the next week or so. Do you guys think I should do black or cream pickup covers on this?

Cream sounds like it could be cool - as there are many "creme covers" out there, the specific shade/hue would determine if it would work.

That must be the gunmetal grey colour aged into a sort of greenish-black... after owning one for a short while, if I had one again I would pay someone to rewire the pu's to be more.., more - as they were the only thing that fell behind in that design gestalt. The neck was something I really liked.

Beauty - someday I'm going to do a pain-stakenly full-on faux distressed finish. MJT does some awesome work so I'd only do one as they are where I'd go if I wanted that and wasn't willing to do it myself. I'd do it just to see how close I could come to the perfection of an actual player-worn finish. I've considered using a Road-Worn J as a starting point and picking up where they left off. All conjecture at this point...
