Very nice  details?
'Murcan Classic 60s. Just as nice as my 58 AVRI P or beloved AVRI 64 J. It smells good too. Radiused board not slab, clay dots, nitro, etc. Chunky neck, vintage tall frets, has the aluminum shield under the guard, which I discovered since you have to literally disassemble the face to get the #$%*& plastic film off lol. It's a keeper, now to collect some natural mojo.

That is stunning. Is it a factory relic? I assume so based on the back of the neck... Very tastefully done!

Thank you!

The relic job was made by Hansen, yes. In fact the only parts that haven’t been crafted by Hansen are tuners, pots, caps, knobs and pickup covers.

I prefer the feel of bare wood on the back of the neck, so I asked him to wear it through the nitro.

It came out quite well. :)

My bad...correct nomenclature is Americal ORIGINAL not Classic. Doh!

Featuring NBS (new bass smell) :) That's cool that it includes a radius'd fb and the full size pg shield - wonder if that is something they usually reserve for FCS basses?

Pretty cool - is the tr access at the heal? If so the pg needs the chewed-up scallop to follow through. So he winds the pu's? How does it sound?

Thanks!

No, it’s at neck. It’s hard to spot on the pics.

It sounds amazing. It has more midrange than other jazz basses I’ve had in the past and slightly more output as well.
The main thing that sets it apart is the level of detail in every note.
The dynamics and resonance of this bass is unlike anything I’ve tried before.

All in all - it sounds and plays as god as it looks!

This early dot&bound '66 is on Reverb and eBay listed as Sherwood Green. (not) It's very amber'd LPB - see actual colour below pg above the E string. So pretty! More teal than SG.

Clearly LPB - cool swirly tort also. Looks like someone installed a tug bar at the neck pu at one time.

hs has some age and use wear - maybe not "distressed", but aged beautifully.
