SHOW YOUR DISTRESSED FINISHES!

I've had this picture for years....Don't know a thing about it.Whether it was torched,or what. But I love it dearly.

Yes, it's plywood.

I believe the caption was "Do you take this bass....?" Lol.

Just like pics from the late 60's groovy psychedelic period, this pic already looks dated to this era. The flour-de-lis patterns in grey, white & turquoise against dark brown couch, her costume w/white boots and white fake fur rug and a road-worn P-bass replete w/"In & Out burger" sticker. Truly "iconic".

She plays with Sugarland and Jennifer Nettles, and her Dad is jazz guitarist Cranston Clements, who was in CC Riders with Jaco..

Sorry guys, I don't thinks she's available ;-)

Wow! Cool! I saw the CC Riders in Omaha Nebraska in the early 70's in a big echo-y auditorium, performing at a car show I think. I wouldn't have had a clue who Jaco was and not certain if he was part of the band then. He played with them only for 10 months but I've yet to find what year. I found a link (below) that includes a live concert here in SF from April '71 w/Artie Goleniak on bass. So it had to be after that as Jaco replaced him.

Twin 66's about a hundred serial numbers apart (early 1966)
the one on the left (lost in our house fire 1/2/2015) it got lots of use bass the on the right was bought new in 1966 and put away for 45 years
in is in like new condition it still has the plastic guard that came on the back of a 66' Fender jazz bass back in the day.....after months of looking through the ashes I did find all the metal parts the bridge, control plate, tuners, most important the neck plate with the serial number I found that last!
