Yes, both get as loud as my needs though, but the UL310 is louder and physically bigger than I want to deal with even though the weight is almost non existent. Sound qualitywise, both are just as appealing.

True. Many have said that. I try not to forget how much of what's in front of the speaker is part of the equation as well. I hardly use any tweeter so it's more of a comparison between the woofers, really. Since I mostly use the tweeter in the lower range of its attenuator, this is the area where I'm most sensitive to it. If it comes on too strong I don't like it. Overall, I just find the Epi's to be better matched to my style, my amps and my basses than the Bergs. Many of my gigs lately have been smaller, more intimate spaces and I like how the Epi's sound fuller throughout their dynamic range than the Bergs. To me, they sound more consistent over their volume range and I don't feel like they "wake up" after applying a certain amount of watts like the Bergs sometimes do (again, depends on the player, the instrument, the amp, etc). Finally, the fact that the Epi UL's utilize neo drivers makes my job easier, whether I'm hand-carrying the entire way to the gig or if I'm taking the subway or a cab.
My rig is finally complete.
I've only had it for a little while, so I'm still getting used to the settings and deciding if I need to tweak it. Coming from a Trace, I think I'll have to up some of the bass. The snap and punch is insane though.

I really, really want to make my Epifani UL112 stack work for my 7 piece cover band. They are so light and easy to pack and carry, plus they don't sound half bad either!
Untill tonight, I've been stacking them in traditional orientation. Being that we have 7 people in the band, frequently the stage will not be big enough at the clubs and I'll be stuck standing right in front of my rig. This usually leaves the ul112 cab sitting on top to firing right into my butt. (insert joke here)
So, I figured I would try something new tonight and stack them vertically. I thought the best way to position them was with the port in the bottom position, kind of like they were stacked in the traditional position. Tweeter on the top cab at normal, tweeter on the bottom cab off.
Well, it was a pretty satisfying result. This moved the speaker much closer to my ear level allowing me to hear myself better. These cabs are full sounding, precise and articulate. I took a quick pic of them stacked up at home.
Anybody stack their UL112's like this?

i've done it on occassion. usually, i'll have the tweeters closer to my ears for more definition, too.

Most of you have already seen this rig. Sorry I don't have an updated pic, but recently, I'm using an older Demeter vtbp-201 preamp into one side of a crest CA-9 to both cabs. The clean tubey sound of the Demeter matches oh so nicely!

Yes! I ran the T-112's (aka NYC-112's) off one side of the amp, and the T-100UL's (aka UL-110's) off the other. Phenomenally good tone!
We also ran all four of these cabs at once off of an AI Focus (Series III) at the first Bowlus Bass Borg GTG, and that was very impressive, as well.
