This is my Roadworn Jazz that I picked up here, which was modded with a P pickup in the neck position.

When it came to me, it had the 62 RI Precision pup in there. I swapped that for a roadworn P pickup. So now I have the best of each roadworn bass!

Still been on the fence though about trying to find a stock roadworn neck pickup for it and take it back to normal. We'll see if I ever find that needle in the haystack.

This Urge I is either an early prototype or else an employee build, per John Paige - who worked at Fender and helped design this model and the Fender Performer. You notice, it has active EMG pickups stock from the factory, a Jazz Bass pot configuration, Volume Volume Tone - and the jack is mounted on the side of the bass instead of the front.
