Out of all them truly beautiful example of bass mastery, for some reason, my eye is still drawn to that P-5 more than anything, looks perfect, in evry way, and I bet it rips and roars, shame they don't make them anymore. :(

You know, I am still baffled as to why Fender dropped that model. It can really cover a lot of ground.

And in defense of my ADJV, even though its brother gets more of the attention, that is one darned-fine Jazz Bass! It really plays well and sounds great. :cool:

Yeah, its mind boggling. Fender just make odd decisions...

I'm sure the Jazz is fantastic too, I nearly bought one recently, they do have killer tone. Can't complain about the looks either!
