Here a couple of nice maple-board Fenders.
Out of all them truly beautiful example of bass mastery, for some reason, my eye is still drawn to that P-5 more than anything, looks perfect, in evry way, and I bet it rips and roars, shame they don't make them anymore.
Only pics I got - and they're dark and crappy- but the birdseye on my US Lakland 4-94 is scrumptious.

Oddly (alarmingly, even), of all those magnificent machines, the one that's always tickled my fancy is the Cherryburst Deluxe Precision 5 -- probably the least expensive piece in there. Gorgeous!

You know, I am still baffled as to why Fender dropped that model. It can really cover a lot of ground.

Yeah, its mind boggling. Fender just make odd decisions...
I'm sure the Jazz is fantastic too, I nearly bought one recently, they do have killer tone. Can't complain about the looks either!
