What's with the joodee bass? Is that logo home made?

Is joodee another lawsuit brand Ive never heard of?
Joodee was a late '70s thru '80s quality copy brand, apparently built for Yamaki/Daion
first at the Dyna Gakki factory, later at their own facilities. The luthier was Shiro Tsuji
of the T & Joodee guitar company.

I've seen two different logo styles; the other one has this swirly script:

Yep, that's the best part, kind of touching... No joke, though. It's held up to 30 years of professional playing now.
The tuners, in particular, must be the best I've encountered anywhere. Hardly a speck on the chrome, and they
turn as smoothly as ever.
