Me and a mate are currently in the process of having an old satellite restored. We saw it in another friends house just sitting there looking unhappy so we've taken it to get it sorted. It seems like it would be very nice, string through and through-neck. However there is a little kink in the neck from around the 7th fret til the 12th. Got no pictures at the mo but i will upload soon :)

Il try.....
I really like the bass alot.Its got a nice tone to it.But im still a bit puzzled about the knobs i dont know what they control, 4 knobs ive no clue accept that if i mess with them i get a nice Growly Tone from it....what knob is what exactly ?
The other thing is its a short neck & i really dont like short necks but in this case its an exception.
Its solid as the Gibson Les Pauls... great action.... its heavy & the sound is warm it has some nice mids.One piece bass ! Wish it were a full scale Greco is all that sorta shys me away from playing it more.

I'm guessing top knobs Volume (front) Tone (back) for the neck pickup and bottom knobs are Volume (front) Tone (back) for the bridge pickup.

Sweet bass, btw!

Late'70's early '80's Westbury Track 2.

Bought it for $150 needing bridge saddles and strings. It cleaned up beautifully. Played it for a couple of years before selling it.

This may be rare. I've never seen another one. I
bought this Westone Electra X640N new in 1985
for $420 with a Fender Jazz bass hard shell case.
It has an 18 volt preamp and I've never played a
nicer J or PJ of any brand.
